Kate's 1st day of Preschool

Kate was ready and raring to go to her 1st day of preschool this past Monday. It had been a long 2 weeks since Anna & Sam started school....she had been counting down the days. She will go Mon-Thurs every afternoon and even gets to ride home on the bus! She was a little disappointed that she didn't get to go with the kids already in the morning, but I told her she would get to go after lunch. So at about 9:00 she started talking about how she was hungry and asked if she could have lunch. Oh yeah, I knew where that was going. Sorry, honey, you have to wait a couple hours. :)

She's had 2 very good afternoons, besides the fact that she doesn't know the names of anyone in her class.......or at least she says she doesn't. She is so ready for the classroom and learning! Makes it a bit easier to send that youngest out the door! Now as long as mom can keep her busy in the morning for a couple hours we'll be doing good! If I had a $1 for every time I've heard "Now what can I do, Mom." There's only so many jobs you can give a 4 year old!!!

So, maybe you're wondering what I'm up to with all our children off to school????? Well, I'm NOT at home....lounging on the couch....eating chocolate bon-bons.....watching TV!!! (a little joke between Steve & I) The hours they are all in school are the hours I'm working. So no, no bon-bons here!
